Wider Experience - Adventures, Tours & Training

Wider Experience offers a comprehensive cycling experience in Kent and Sussex where we provide training programs and refresher courses all through the year for learning to ride (Beginners, Intermediate and Advanced) as well cycling fitness, road safety and off-road (mountain bike & trail riding) courses.

Wider Experience also offers experiences and tours for all ages and abilities to enable riders to connect with the local Kent and East Sussex landscape by offering bespoke rides through like The Saxon Shore Way, Route 18, The North Downs Way, Kent AONB, Pilgrims Trail, Wye, Chilham, Kings Wood, Conningbrook Lakes, Canterbury and coastal routes through Rye, Folkestone, Sandgate, Hythe, Dover, Deal, Margate, Ramsgate, Botany Bay, Whitstable and Herne Bay.
We also partner with local businesses including accommodation providers, food and drink outlets, vineyards, historical tour guides and experts to provide a unique and a varied offering to embrace local culture and communities for memorable experiences.

Services include:
• Bicycle and E-bike hire
• Equipment Hire (helmets, bags, lights hi-vis etc)
• Cycle breakdown & repair service
• Bicycle and passenger drop off /pick up service back to accommodation
• Shop and drop service where you can buy local produce and have it picked up and returned with them to your accommodation

Wider Experience offers a huge variety of cycling experiences for all ages and abilities all through the year. From self led to guided tours, special occasions or family days out, we cater for all types of adventures.

Cycle Tour Packages

The Old Dairy Brewery and The Wider Experience have joined forces to offer cycle tour packages. Combine a trip to  Brewery with a cycle tour of the Garden of England. Choose from either a guided tour or a self led tour, you can bring your own bike or hire one, along with your equipment from The Wider Experience. Both Experiences include a Flight of Beer and a pie/scotch egg at the Old Dairy Brewery Taproom, either at the start or end of your cycle ride and for the under 18's a soft drink!
