Maya the Jaguar, star of the BBC2 series Big Cats About the House

Want to get up close and personal with over 50 big cats? A visit to the Big Cat Sanctuary in Smarden is a must.  They are only open for five days a year to the public in July, but there are lots of other ways to visit. Book a photography day, stay overnight in one of the wonderful lodges or book a tour with the keeper and hand feed a lion. This really is a special treat that will live long in the memory.

Pig racing at the Rare Breeds Centre

There's plenty of fun to be had down on the farm!  The Rare Breeds Centre at Woodchurch offers everything for a fun, family day out. Little 'uns love the petting barn; meet giant cuddly rabbits, hamsters, chicks, a friendly Shire Horse and the cheeky goats. They love a cuddle! Set within 100 acres of beautiful unspoilt Kent countryside there's much to see and do. And look out for special events throughout the year

Port Lympne Reserve

Set over 600 acres, Port Lympne is home to the UK’s most authentic safari experience, The African Experience – 100 acres alive with African animals. Join our safari vehicles to see animals including zebras and giraffes wandering freely then head off on foot around the rest of the park to see the big cats and primates.

Book additional activities for an extra special day, including bespoke safaris, guided tours, team building activities, keeper experiences and many more.  Restaurants and kiosks are located around the park providing a variety of hot and cold snacks.
